I get an error message while running WorldPainter, or WorldPainter won't start.
I'm having trouble installing WorldPainter.
the biomes were cycling through Frozen River, Ice Mountains, and Ice Plains. Grab some supplies, drop a boat, head south to new lands. Logged back in, all gone! Wait,what? Ice starts to form on the shoreline and within 20 minutes the entire river is choked with ice again. Edited out the snow and ice, no problems. I then tried to manually go in and make changes to the immediate area I was previously logged in at. Update: Tried MCedit again and had the same memory problems using Select All followed by search/replace on Ice > Water and Snow > Air. I hope someone knows a solution to fix the world data that does not include dumping it. Seed = 0, and the Biome is showing as Ice Mountains. I'll reboot soon and attempt it again.įrom reading the messages here, I went back in and checked the F3 panel. About 30% in, it encounters memory errors and aborts. I attempted this but it finds 12k+ ice blocks and estimates 8+ minutes to complete the replace. find ice / replace with water (still), find snow layer / replace with air. Started checking the forums here and there and found a few suggestions to use MCedit, then do a search/replace on the specific blocks. Updated to 1.2.3 this week, same thing going on. the desert has snow layers all over the place. I keep a private server running for my nephew to experiment on and a few weeks ago we noticed the rivers and most of the nearby ocean was iced over.
